Hello there! My name is Reni and welcome to my website! Well done for getting here and putting the effort to get to know me and my work, and I hope I get the chance to get to know you too! To make it easier putting a name to a face, I’m the chick on the photos in the filmstrip, my cat there, Pepper and my family who are 2-countries-and-3-different-cities apart.

Simply put, I’m a Sydney-based professional photographer with over 7 years of experience. Not-simply put, I moved from Indonesia 10 years ago, finished 3 University degrees since then, and never thought photography would be the one thing I ended up doing and that I’d be loving every minute of it. I picked up my first camera when I was 16 years of age and I thank my Dad for that, and my journey hasn’t been a straight forward nor an easy one but I’ll save you the story for some other time. 

But here’s what it’s all about. Whether it’s an awkwardly-posed, matching-outfit 90s style studio shoot or a photo from a film camera, whether it’s taken on someone’s phone or stored in a laminated album, whether it’s a planned frame or a candid expression captured, photographs matter.

Everything will turn into memories. At the end of the day, we ourselves become memories and photographs make it possible for us to relive those memories. So we want to make sure, I want to make sure, that I capture these memories the best I can.

When you think life’s too busy and there is no time to do photos, that’s exactly why we need to make time to do them. Because before you know it, life passes you by!
